    Process and Exclusions

    We reserve the right to replace or repair as required. Issues we can help with, but not included in the warranty: improper installation or assembly when not performed by a LifeSpace certified installer, puncturing of the liner, aesthetic imperfections, cracking or checking of the wood as it seasons, wood finish/stain, castors or wheels, damage during moving or installation and wood rot from lack of basic maintenance or improper installation.

    Return Policy:

    Within 7 days you can return your LowRider, HighRise, SaladBar, Canopy, or Project Garden Box – no questions asked for a full purchase credit. Gardens must be in new condition, and original packaging. Returns can be sent to #8 - 262 E Esplanade, North Vancouver BC, Canada. V7L 1A3. The cost of shipping is not covered in our return policy.

    Our GardenWell Kits and custom built garden models, such as: Heirloom, Artifex, Elevated Heirloom/Artfiex, Harvest Table, and any CondoFarm with engraving or custom finishing are built and assembled to order and not eligible for return and deposits non-refundable.

    Almost all of our products can be shipped across Canada and to the lower 48 States of USA.

    For our smaller gardens such as: LowRider, HighRise and Canopy, shipping is calculated as part of the check out process.

    For our larger gardens such as: Artifex and Heirloom, a custom shipping quote is required, and is part of the "Request a Quote" process.

    For our local clientele, gardens can be delivered directly to you by the LifeSpace Team.

    We offer both Residential and Commercial installation services throughout the Vancouver area complete with our premium living soil, organic veggie seeds and seedlings, and can provide garden planning and season long support.

    how do i grow carrots?

    When the threat of hard frost has passed, sow your first crop of carrots into your container.

    Plant your seeds about 1/4" deep and at a spacing of 16 per square-foot. If you drop a few extra seeds, don't worry! When the extra seeds germinate, you will need to thin them to the appropriate square foot spacing so the others have enough room to keep growing. Root vegetables are very sensitive to overcrowding! Thin all the other seedlings out except the strongest one, it has the best chance of surviving

    As soon as your carrots have developed full colour and reach the desired size, they are ready to eat. Dig them up with a garden fork or simply pull them when the soil is moist by pulling firmly on the greens. Make sure to harvest your fall crops before the ground freezes, or be prepared for some hard work. Carrots can be harvested while they are still young for baby carrots.

    Helpful Tips and Tricks

    For a late harvest, cover your container in mulch to keep if from freezing too quickly and to protect your carrots from precipitation and wind.  

    You can overwinter some carrots, plant early enough to make sure they are a decent size by Halloween. They will lay dormant in the ground, ready for harvest when you want them!
